I have a comfortable 3-bedroom flat in the Brussels suburb of Kortenberg (about a 15-minute drive to central Brussels).

The flat has a large kitchen (with dining table), a small balcony and a large living room.

Two computers with high-speed wireless Internet are also available.

Quartier

Kortenberg is a small town, surrounded by fields and woods.

My children and I often take walks in the fresh country air.
It is very conveniently located about 10 minuets from the airport, yet there is no airplane noise at all.

It is very easy to get into central Brussels by car (about 15 minutes), bus (about 35 minutes) or train (about 20 minutes).

À propos de nous

I am a professional translator and the co-owner of a translation agency in Brussels. I have three children (all girls, aged 17, 15 and 12) who live mainly with their mother, but also spend time with me.

We are all English-speaking, but my children were born in Belgium and go to local schools so they also speak fluent Dutch (and decent French).

Destination

This summer (2008) we are hoping to find one or two places to stay in Italy. We prefer northern Italy (to visit Florence, Verona, Pisa, Milan, Venice), but we would also be willing to go further south (Rome).

This can be a non-simultaneous exchange.

My children do not live with me, so I often have 3 free beds in my flat (with the possibility of adding 2 or 3 more).
