Maison

We have a 2 story row-house in western part of San Francisco that has been extensively remodeled within the last six years - new kitchen, new bathroom, family room and garden.
Master bedroom has kingsize bed, 2nd bedroom has queensize bed and family room has a couch that opens to a double bed. House would be most comfortable for 3 or 4.

Quartier

We are located 2 blocks from the Muni (underground) which provides easy access to downtown San Francisco in less than 20 minutes; home is also 4 blocks from a local shopping street with coffee shops and restaurants. Great wine shop at the corner of our block. Quick access to Golden Gate bridge and the Wine country - you can be in either Napa or Sonoma in about 45 minutes. It's about a 10 minute drive to Golden Gate park.

Our area is called West Portal and is a mixture of expensive and mid-range homes and apartments. There are a number of young families in West Portal.

I'm Ron and I've recently re-retired from a financial firm after a second career in software development. Our family lived for several years in both Frankfurt and Rome while I was working for a technology company.

My wife Sally and I have a daughter who lives in San Francisco. She is available to help with questions or concerns about the house.
