My apartment is composed of a comfortable bedroom with a big double bed, TV & VCR, a living-room with another TV, a DVD player and a sofa on which 2 additional persons can sleep. To be honest, it is more suitable for kids but I sleep in it myself when I have guests. There is a study with a computer and internet access, a kitchen with oven, microwave, washing-machine etc. and a small bathroom.

Quartier

I live in the closest outskirts of Paris. I takes 7 minutes to walk to the subway station that will take you to the centre of Paris in less than 15 minutes or to Charles de Gaulle airport.
In my street you can find a bakery, 2 small grocery shops, a bank, restaurants etc.

À propos de nous

I live by myself with my cat but I will make arrangements for it to be away when I swap homes.
I am an English teacher in a secondary school and I try to travel to the United Kingdom as often as I can afford to but unfortunately accomodation there is really expensive. That is why I started thinking of exchanging homes.
The friend I intend to travel with is also an English teacher but she teaches at university.
I cannot swap homes with people who are too far away from France because I don't take planes anymore (sorry). However, the exchange can be non-simultaneous as I often go to my parents' in the south of France during my summer holidays (July & August) but also during Christmas and sometimes in spring : usually between April & May depending on the dates of the French holidays.

Destination

It can be a non-simultaneous exchange as I often go to my parents' in the South of France during my holidays. We are flexible on dates as long as it is between mid-july 2008 to mid-august 2008.
We would love to discover Scotland but hotels and other accomodations are really expensive. Please help us.
