Maison

A two storey house with four bedrooms (including a study). Our home has two reception rooms and a beautiful kitchen which opens out onto the garden with furniture for eating out of doors. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large american style fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher and breakfast bar which opens out into dining room which can comfortably seat 8. There is also a piano in the dining room.
The lounge is equipped with a home entertainment system, sky plus t.v. with surround system. Our home also has wireless broadband.
There are three double rooms which function as bedrooms, with the option of creating extra bed space in the large study on the second floor.
Our home has one large bathroom complete with free standing shower. There is also the added convenience of a second small toilet.

Quartier

Pontcanna is a lovely leafy area of Cardiff with open parkland. The neighbourhood is more of a self contained village with its fabulous restaurants and cafes and local craft/arts shops. A short five minute walk through the park and you're in the centre of Cardiff with all the amenities you would expect a large cosmopolitan city to boast. A short walk from the city centre (or bus/taxi/car ride) will take you to Cardiff's waterfront development with the world reknowned Millenium Arts Centre (Home to the Welsh National Opera) and a further choice of nightclubs/comedy clubs/restaurants and cafes.
Pembrokeshire and it's great beaches are a two hour car ride away, the Gower Peninsula is an hour away and a two hour train ride (departures every hour) will take you into the centre of London.

I am a BBC documentary producer/director and my husband Euron is a writer and broadcaster. We are a family of four including two teenage daughters (aged 12 and 17).
We speak English, Welsh and working French.

Destination
