We have a beautiful home located on quiet crescent in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Located on a cul-de-sac but walking distance to most amenities. Our home features 4 bedrooms - one on main level with queen sized bed, two on upper level (one double, one queen bed) and a large finished basement (with walk out). We have a large, well landscaped property with seperately fenced pool - perfect for family with young children. Rennovated Open concept dining/kitchen and living, as well as office equipped with internet, den with large screen t.v. and rec-room with game systems.

Stratford is home to the Stratford Festival - One of Canada's leading theatres featuring 4 stages and an amazing playbill (www.stratford-festival.on.ca) , and the Stratford Chef's school (one of the country's leading schools). Stratford feaures a historic, vibrant downtown, a beautiful park system, and dozens of fabulous restaurants. Located 1.5 hours from Toronto, 2.5 hours from Niagara Falls and 1 hour from the beautiful beaches at Lake Huron. Stratford also features a weekly farmer's market, stratford summer music festival and wonderful local shopping that caters to tourists from around the world.

We are a family of four. John owns and operates a large real-estate company. I (Kristin) work with my husband and we have two children aged 10 and 7. The children are well behaved, mature and respectful children. We have travelled a great deal and are hoping to expose the kids to French culture as they currently attend a french-immersion school.

We are hoping to exhcange anywhere in france. We are also open to french speaking parts of Switzerland or Belgium.

A previous trip we stayed in Saint-Chinian (near Beziers) and loved the accessibility and ease of travel around that area.

Destination

We are hoping to exchange with a family in a french-speaking region. We would like to expose our children to a french culture and we enjoy outdoor activities, beach, sight-seeing and history such as medieval castles, museums etc. We would prefer a smaller city in a more rural location and would love to be within an hour drive of the mediteranean or lake.
