Maison

This appartment is situated in a residencial building, modern construction with comfort in term of insulation (noise, climate) with always a nice temperature inside. The living surface is 60 m². It is a first floor flat with elevators. There are 2 neighboors at the same floor quiet and nice.

It is located in front of a Parc (all windows oriented toward the Parc), south oriented so very luminous, with a nice balcony (about 6 m²) where you can stay for your meals, you can even have barbecue during summer (which I provide). It's a quiet area (no street in front) only children are playing the afternon in the parc.

There is one bedroom, with a double bed. The bathroom is with a shower bath and a large miror, there is a gas boiler so always warm water! Toiletroom is separated from bathroom. The kitchen is practical with a gaz cooker. I have many cooking books so you can use them to try cooking local food!

The living room is cosy with its wood floor, there is a 4 seats diner table and a sofa bed (for 2 people).. You have free acess to internet; on TV you can find international channels (CNN /BBC / ESPN / SKYNEWS - TVE, for spanish), there is a DVD player. You can use the phone for national calls to land lines (to book a restaurant for instance...).

In short, it's a nice comfortable and clean appartment. You are most welcome!

Quartier

The appartment is located in the “GRAND LYON” wich means in the large city of LYON. The area where I live is named “VILLEURBANNE - Tonkin”. You have access to all commodities.

Tramway : (1 minute walking) brings you in 5 minutes to the main train station - From that main train station “PART DIEU” you can take a return ticket in the day to Paris (with the fast TGV train 300km/h) - It will take you 2 hours –

Subway : (5 minutes walking) transports you in 10 minutes to the very heart of LYON (Or to the famous LYON soccer Stadium “GERLAND”). From the appartment your are at 10 minutes walking form thr wonderful Parc “de la tête d’or” which is a very beautiful Parc, comparable to Central Park.

Bicycles : In LYON we also have the bicycle rental stations (you just need a VISA card) There are 3 rental stations in my area (1 minute walking each).

Otherwise it’s a multiethnic area, popular, you have a market place with a traditionnal market 3 times a week. In LYON itself you already have many occupation, there is an amazing old city with many restaurants and traditional shops. LYON is the second biggest city of France and often call the small PARIS. It is also the capital of French Gastronomy. LYON is located in the RHONE-ALP region, a very rich region with many medieval village to visit. You are in the countryside after 15mn driving and in the ALPS mountain after 1 hour only.

It’s also free car parking al around in the area.

À propos de nous

My job is Export area sales manager. I’m working in the Fire Protection and selling material such as Fire Extinguishers abroad France, mainly to Africa. I’m 27 years old, single. I like travelling very much, dancing salsa, swimming, Skiing.

I’m organised, rigourous, open minded, sociable. I have a large familly so I’m quite often visiting them in different areas of France. I’m travelling also a lot for my job and going to hotels and staying in business areas. So I want to travel for my pleasure and experiment local life of foreign cultures. I’m interested to exchange my appartment for the summer holidays. This year 2008 I have my holidays from July 26th to August 17th .

I speak French, English, Spanish.

Destination

I'm flexible in the destinations. I will probalby travel with a friend or my brother. So 2 people maximum. My holidays are now fixed : from 26th July to 17th August. Between these 2 dates, I'm flexible
