2 level cottage solar powered an hour from Tucson international. Main floor may or may not be completed. second floor whetre bedroom and living room accommodation is located is finished. Large veranda overlooking canyon below. street vehicle will not get all the way to the cottage, last mile a 4X4 is needed. Cooking outdoors on propane. Share shower in a main ranch house. Potable water either purchased or drawn from the purifier in the ranch house. National park and national forest start at other side of the fence. At 4000 ft mild winter and cooler summer. Photographers paradise. Abundant wildlife. Safe storage of posessions till next time. Good wireless signal for internet and cell phone. Even if walking a mile to the street vehicle there is something to look at all the time. We preserve al;l wildlife exept for stinging flying insects. Please, note that spider is not a flying insect. Corner store is 10 mile drive, supermarket 17 miles. Richest part of the world in natural features. Museums zoos, botanical gardens, lakes, mountain hikes and of course the Grand canyon are all within reach. Some freedoms with long term agreement. Vehicles can be also used in the exchange. closest neigbour 3 miles by the road. Very private. There is a grounds keeper at the ranch. Variety of accommodations available, not only the cottage. If you enjoy pristine nature with uncongested unpoluted environment you will love this spot. Milion miles from civilisation, yet only an hour or 30 miles from the milion resident metropilis. 7 mile dirt road from the interstate 10, 4 of which are really well maintained and likely soon will be paved. Pets are welcome. There are 2 dogs and a cat living at the property.

Open range pasture, low density habitation, minimum land needed for a building permit is 5 acres. If walking is desired form of exercise it is ideal and interesting.

I was downsized kicking and screaming in 2001. Because of family reasons I relocated to Canada. I lived ruraly my whole life and love it. The grounds keeper at the ranch is also a very individualistic outdoorsman.

Destination

I am retired and very flexible. I live with wife who is a homemaker. We have no pressures of any kind. Very easy going people.
