Maison

I live alone, with a cat and a dog, in my little Dallas house. It has central heat and air conditioning, a dishwasher, and ... a Piano! It also has a lot of books in it. Hardwood floors, mostly, though there is carpet in the bedrooms. It's not entirely updated or remodeled - i.e., not too fancy - but it's quaint and clean, and has a lot of character. It also has a nice big porch out front that is perfect for drinking a "Lone Star" (a Texas-only beer!) and watching the neighborhood pass by.

Quartier

My house is in the Lakewood area of Dallas, which is one of the oldest and prettiest areas. There are lots of old trees, and all the homes are at least 80 years old, built when Dallas' oil boom hit. "Old Money," they call it. I live around the corner from restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops, bookstores and pretty much anything else you could want, or a short bike ride/bus trip from historic downtown.

I am a single 26 year old. I'm a painter and a songwriter, and a substitute teacher at an inner city school, downtown. I live with a big old dog named Buckley and a little cat named Pitiful. You would not have to worry about Buckley, he'd be going on his own vacation to Grandma's. Pitiful comes inside to eat her food, but otherwise, you can kick her outside.

Destination
