We built our 1700 sq. ft. home five years ago on one acre property in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Single level contemporary. Deer roam through property almost daily. A large ranch is less than a quart mile up the road where African exotics, elk, and buffalo can often be seen while walking or biking. We live in the beautiful hill country 35 miles north of San Antonio; 60 miles southwest of Austin; 30 miles east of Boerne; 15 miles south of Blanco; and 25 miles west of New Braunfelds, Texas. DSL availabe. 72" digital DVD/VHS projection.

Quartier

The Texas Hill Country is beautiful. Lots of Live Oak and cedar. It is generally sunny and warm in the winter while hot in the summer (June, July, August)...but not humid. We love the weather and the many small towns in the area which provide incredible western atmosphere ... towns like Comfort (quaint), Fredericksburg (amazing), Gruene (historic & a favorite) and Canyon Lake (lots to do) which is 30 miles northeast. There you can swim, ski and fish. Austin is just one hour and fifteen minutes north (The Oasis Restaurant a must). In the fall deer hunting is the thing. On our property we frequently see 12 to 15 deer at one time (no hunting), wild boar, turkey, fox, jack rabbit and even a mountain lion this year ... Not to worry ... they range over a large territory and have plenty to keep them satisfied. San Antonio offers the Alamo, Sea World, Six Flags and its rich history. Over six million visit to the Alamo each year.

For the last three years I have been in full time ministry as one of four pastors at Living Water Fellowship in Bulverde, Texas, a few miles south of our home. My earlier profession was in the field of print, trade show and publication design. We moved to San Antonio from Portland, Oregon to produce a marketing/hospitality center for a medical manufacturing firm and then to Spring Branch to enjoy the Texas Hill Country.

We have six children (all married) and soon, eight grandchildren. We adopted our two youngest daughters. My wife worked for Blue Cross and home schooled our children during part of their schooling.

Destination

We are somewhat flexible.
We plan to travel to Europe in August, September or October 2008.
Italy, England, Scotland, Israel, Austria are high on our destination list.
We use AAdvantage, therefore American Airline/Eagle must service your location.
No drinkers or smokers.
