3 Bed House - 2 double - 1 single, Huge sitting Room over looking the Shannon Estuary, Ballybunion Golf Club, and the Co. Clare Peninsula . Modern fitted kichen - all conveniences at hand. Spacious bathroom and one main bedroom ensuite. Cable TV in both sitting room and kitchen.

Quartier

The beach is 250 metres from our front door - a beautiful private beach - excellent shore fishing, surfing and great walks along the shore/cliffs.
We can catch fresh Bass/Plaice/Mackeral from the beach and have it in the frying pan within 10 minutes! We pick mussles, bornacks and perri winkles from the rocky side of the beach also.
Our home is 2 miles from the small village of Ballyduff - it has 4 pubs, 2 shops and a postoffice! The village of Ballybunion is 6 miles away and would be more of a tourist destination with a leisure centre, gof club, restaurants, and 2 public beaches.
An added bonus is my sister and her family live nearby and will be available to help with any questions or queries you may have during your stay at our home.

My husband and I are in our early 30's we have a 2 year old, well behaved son. We are tired of package holidays and would like to try home exchange in order to get a greater feel for the destination we travel to. Our house is very child friendly and would be suitable for a toddler/small children. I work as a Civil Servant, my husband is a Foreman in Construction. We are a respectful family with high values.

Destination

Our family car is a Nissan Primera, its a 2.2 Dsl and excellent for long distance travel as its very comfortable and easily seats 5.

Our home in Ballyduff is one and a half hours drive to Dingle.
Dingle is one of the most well know unspoilt beauty spots in Ireland.

The ring of Kerry is a fantastic drive that can be done in a day - you will travel through many well know scenic areas - Killarney, Kenmare, Dingle, ect and experience the natural beauty of Co Kerry.

You can take the ferry from Tarbert and be in Ennis Co Clare in one hour - Co Clare is known for its rural beauty - it is on the main track to Connemara, Co Galway.

If its raining (which it does occasionally in Ireland!!) the Town of Tralee is 30 minutes drive from our home. There are museums, Aqua Centres, Indoor children activity centres, shopping malls, restuarants and bars.
