Maison

We would like to swap homes, simultaneously or not simultaneously (we can be flexible depending on the timing, ideally during the summer). We are open to any proposition of destination. We'll welcome you in our 70 square meters appartment in the very center of Paris. Located in the historical neighborhood of Le Marais, this unique appartment under the roofs will ravish you. Very quiet, with a lot of light, this appartment designed by an architect, is absolutely charming and will wake your stay in Paris unforgettable. It is located in a nice old buildind but has l the modern confort (elevator, high-speed internet, cable TV, washing and cleaning machine, microwave, air conditionning). The living room offers a view over Paris roofs and the the Eiffel tower. It's ideal for a couple with a small child since we have a big nice double bedroom for the parents and a separate baby bedroom with all the equipment (baby bed, change table, lots of toys, etc.).

Quartier

Ideally located, the appartment is in the very center of Paris, where you can find everything. It's 5 min by foot from the Picasso museum and the place de la République, 10 min from the place des vosges and the Pompidou center (modern art museum of Paris), 15 min from the place de la Bastille and the place de l'hôtel de ville (Paris cityhall), 20 min from Notre-dame (Paris cathedral) and 30 min from the Louvre (main museum of Paris). Off course all shops, restaurants, cafés, bars, etc. that you can imagine are just two minuts by foot from the appartment. There is a supermarket just around the corner as well as a typical french market and a very good bakery with nice croissants. The nearest metro station is Filles du calvaire or Republique.

À propos de nous

We are a young but very mature married couple. I'm 29 and my husband is 33 years old. My husband is a PhD in biology and I gratuated in political sciences. My husband is a technical account manager in a big bioscience firm. I work in a communication agency as project manager. We are both no smoking people. Very responsible and reliable, we've already exchanged homes before and it was a great experience. We both speak english and French (but I also speak german, spanish and portuguese). Since we also have a country house near Paris and another house near the sea, we can manage to let you our appartment also for a non simultaneous swap at some periods of time. We have a daughter who is 15 month old and usually doesn't travel with us. She's the most wonderful baby in the world off course!

Destination

We are open to exchange anywhere if your offer seems tempting, so we're open to any proposal. We can manage non simultaneous swaps if necessary. For us the easiest times to travel are :
- From December the 20th to January the 5th
- Around May the 1st or May the 8th
- During End of July of during the month of August
