Quartier

Situated in a quiet friendly village between the 2 main island towns of Newport and Ryde each a 10 minute drive. Public transport is regular. The village is also the site of a steam railway attraction and has a pub with excellent dining. Views all round over forest and chalk downland and many opportunities for walks or cycling, both road and trail. There are many beaches and fabulous coastal scenery within easy reach. Two thirds of the island is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

À propos de nous

Having recently retired we have just returned from 2 years work in Sri Lanka, taking 18 months to make the journey home via Australia and New Zealand. Generally interested in travel although more likely to prefer wild areas rather than cities. Areas with diving opportunities would be of interest but not essential.
Within the UK we would be interested in short exchanges to Oxford and London to visit daughters.
