Maison

We have a two-storey penthouse apartment of 130 sqm. The apartment has high ceilings, lovely wood floors and plenty of daylight.

One floor (3rd) has a hallway, from which there is access to the 3 bedrooms, the big nice bathroom with skylight windows and the internal stairway leading to the fantastic penthouse top floor.

The top floor (4th) is one big room containing kitchen, dining area and living room. The top floor has a nice 20 sqm. terrace in nearly the whole length of the room.

The furnishing and the decoration of our apartment is typical Danish – functional and not overcrowded. The apartment is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and wireless internet connection (bring your own PC).

Quartier

The apartment is located in the city centre of Aarhus near the central station in an area with a variety of small local shops, a big shopping centre and a big gym.

The apartment is located 100 m down a quiet street and has a 20 sqm. terrace facing a green private garden. The garden is accessible for the building’s residents only.

In the gym right across the street you will find possibilities as yoga, aerobic, fitness, badminton, gymnastics, indoor climbing etc. Another 5 minutes away there is wellness centre with heated swimming pools, saunas, steam bath and massage.

Aarhus is Denmark’s second biggest city located at the coast of Jutland. Aarhus has it all. Within 5 minutes walking distance of our apartment you can experience the pulse of Aarhus and its many café’s, restaurants and music scenes. Taking another 20 minutes walk will bring you to sandy beaches, green forests and parks surround the city centre of Aarhus.

Aarhus is a green, historic and cultural city, with roots going back to the Vikings in the 8th century. You sense this in the special atmosphere of the city, surrounding our apartment.

À propos de nous

We are two engineers (couple) of 33 and 34 years. Together we enjoy dancing standard & latin, playing badminton, travelling and spending time with family and friends.

Besides the above, Jakob is generally interested in city life, historical & cultural experiences, while Line generally takes pleasure in horse riding, yoga, meditation and experiences in the nature.

Destination

We have already planned a tour including New York & Toronto from May 4th to May 18th 2008.

We would like to experience New York, Toronto and Niagara falls between 4th to 18th of May 2008.

Our appartment will thus be available from 2nd to 18th of May 2008. And we are looking for a home base in either New York, Toronto or Niagara falls for a minimum period of 4 days between 4th and 18th of May 2008.
