This recently modernised terrace house on 4 floors and on a quiet street is ideally placed for visiting London. The spacious kitchen is complete with dishwasher, and the lower ground-floor has TV, and DVD player; a second TV is in the master bedroom and an internet-connected computer is in the study - where a 7th. bed can be set up. The top (children's) bedrooms have views extending far over the city, and there's a small courtyard garden at the back.

Quartier

Hampstead is a very desirable part of London, with mainly Georgian and Victorian buildings - the painter Constable lived nearby, as did the poet Keats. The Underground - on the convenient-for-city access Northern Line - is a 4 minute walk away, and the expansive open acres of Hampstead Heath just down the road. Every amenity, from specialist food shops to a wide choice of restaurants and boutiques, is two blocks away. There's a small theatre showing mainly new productions just round the corner, and an art-cinema near the many shops.

À propos de nous

This is a one-time offer on behalf of my film-and-TV-designer daughter, her English-Heritage management husband and their two children, aged 7 and 9. They are hoping to arrange an exchange next Christmas/New Year in the Caribbean.
