Perched above the beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol's Marbella coast, Grangefield Oasis Club lives up to its name by offering an oasis of tranquility - far enough away from the main coastal road to be peaceful, yet only a few minutes' drive from the beach, shops and bars of Riviera del Sol.
Grangefield Oasis Club is a totally self-contained Spanish pueblo-style resort. On-site facilities include:

• Two outdoors pools.
• Indoor Leisure Centre with pool and gym.
• Las Palmeras Pool Bar and Restaurant, open from breakfast until dinner throughout most of the year, with special themed evenings such as barbecue and flamenco nights.
• La Hacienda Restaurant, open for breakfast and dinner throughout the year, serving a Spanish/international menu and themed evenings.
• Entertainment programmes for adults and children.
• Tennis courts.

Quartier

If you can bring yourselves to leave the resort, you are ideally placed to visit nearby Fuengirola and Marbella, or head to the City of Malaga, birthplace of Piccasso, or stunning Ronda, perched on a gorge, which boasts the oldest bullring in Spain. Gibraltar is only an hour's drive away, and, in the other direction, the high peaks of the Sierra Nevada offer winter skiing. Reception can organize car hire for you, or book you onto an organized excursion.

Hi, this is our holiday timeshare, and adults and children in all periods fo the year enjoyed the area. There so many things to do, and even just staying relaxing at the resort is so noice, and it feels like home. I highly recommend it as a base to visit the south of spain, I usually rent a car (new, good service, cheap) from amigos car rental, and visit every day a different spot and somedays take a relaxing break in the pool/jacuzzi, or playing tennis or golf.

Destination

This can be a non simultaneous exchange.
The home in Spain is available on week 33 each year, saturday to saturday, and for 2009 the period of availability is 15-22 August.

The periods in which we take our holidays are generally:
1st June-10 September (travel to far away exotic places, beach preferablty in the Mediterranean, mountain-trek)
20dec-7jan (travel to faraway exotic places, beach-exotic warm places, occasionally ski resorts)
march (1 week of ski, generally Alps)
Easter (1week of travel to vist places, ski or beacch/sports eg scubadiving).
We would consider anyway different dates.

We have other homes available to exchange if you need different period, one in Tuscania, Italy, a lovely apartment in the historical centre, see other ad about this 14228.

We travel in 2 (me and my 8yo son), plus occasionally the nanny, plus occasionally other one or two people with us, say my parents, or a friend...)
