Come relax in the peaceful North Georgia mountains! Rock your cares away on the front porch as you listen to wildlife all around you. Enjoy the steamy heat of the private hot tub on the back deck, nestled high in the treetops overlooking a trickling creek below. Cozy up with a good book next to a wood fireplace of beautiful natural stone. Watch the snow fall gently or listen to the patter of rain on the tin roof...

You may choose to stay exclusively at home once you experience our beautiful cabin. We call it Mountain Due...

For the active, just minutes away is downtown...either Blue Ridge or McCaysville, where you can choose from a train ride on the Georgia Scenic Railway, quaint restaurants, antique shopping, and shopping for locally-made fine artisan products and artists' works. Live theater and a vestige of the past--a drive-in theater--are also in town. Other nearby towns with activities and festivals year-round include Ellijay, Copper Hill, and Ducktown.

For adventurous, outdoorsy types, select from dozens of activities, including water sports, hiking in the Cohutta Wilderness and on trails near the cabin, fishing, and golfing. Drive minutes away with inner tubes or kayaks and float down the Ocoee...

Whatever your preferences, Mountain Due is ready to accommodate you and your family and friends. With two KING beds and a queen sleeper sofa, as well as a port-a-crib for the little one, you will enjoy all the comforts of a true back-to-nature retreat!

Families looking for a place to escape, couples looking for a little romance, girlfriends looking for a vacation away from it all, and those seeking sporting adventure...all we be served by this quaint and cozy cabin, fully stocked for creature comfort...

À propos de nous

We love to travel locally and internationally and speak fluent English, Albanian, and French. Our cabin is a second home, so exchange times are flexible. We have a little dog who comes with us to the cabin and that we'd love to take with us on domestic trips within driving distance.

Destination

Mountain Due is a second home to us, so we are very flexible on dates and will happily do a non-simultaneous exchange. We're interested in going to Paris, Florida, and Arizona (Summer, 2009), but are open to all exchanges.
