Maison

Our house was built in 2007, in a very quiet impasse. We have a small quiet sunny garden (300 m2 – East oriented) with table, bank, chairs, long chairs, swing and slide …

The house is 120 m2 : on the first floor you have the living room with a stove, an equipped kitchen, a bathroom (with a big shower) and a garage (with bicycles for all the family, baby-seat included). We have all comfort (washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, micro-waves).
On the second floor the 5 bedrooms (2 with double beds, 2 with single beds and a baby’s room) and the bathroom.
We have no TV but we have a computer with DVD and high speed internet access in a room.

Quartier

Saint Gilles Croix de Vie is a coastal town of Vendée, with a traditional fishing port which makes it lively and colourful throughout the year. We are 75 kms in the south of Nantes and 30 kms in the north of Les Sables d’Olonne and 30 minutes by boat direct from l’Ile d’Yeu and near Noirmoutier island. www.vendee.fr ou www.vendee-tourisme.com.

It is a seaside resort equipped with the whole of range of leisure facilities. Many sports can be practised around like windsurf, surf, sailing, tennis, golf, horse-riding, walking or riding, beach clubs and you may find many restaurants, bars, a casino, a cinema …

Our house is located 500 meters from the center of Croix de Vie (typical markets 5 days per week), near from all commodities, station, and supermarkets (you can leave the car and go anywhere by foot !).
We are based 1 km from white sand beach with surf school (La Grande Plage) - direct acces with a little boat is possible = 15 mn from the house by foot,
and 500 m from a little beach with seawater swimming pool and sailing school (plage de Boisvinet).

The house is in a very quiet cul-de-sac and our neighbours are lovely. There are 9 houses in the street, only one family has a child (a 9 years-old boy), the others are youg grand-parents.

À propos de nous

We are 36 and 41 years old and have two young boys aged of 8 and 5 and a baby girl (born in august 2007).
My husband is a boats seller and I am a career consultant (but actually I am a mother at home). We enjoy sailing and walking, our first son enjoys surfing and the second one likes cycling in the street.
We can speak english.
We have a cat (but it won’t stay in the house while you will be here).

Destination

We are looking for a place by the sea (in IRELAND) or a lake (in AUSTRIA),
but moreover we would enjoy beautiful walks around.
