Maison

Our house is from 1914 but recently modernised with respect for its traditional style. Its in 3 stories with 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is a nice little garden around the house and a secluded area of decking in the front.

The house lies in the middle of Tórshavn with less than 10 min to all sights of the town. Its 200 m from the harbour and ½ km to the ferries and busstation.

Quartier

Even if we live in the center of Tórshavn its still a quiet neighbourhood and very safe (Faroe Islands is one of the safest places to go to) We are in walking distance from shops, galleries, harbour, hospital, church and so on. We actually dont use our car much. The other houses in the neighbourhood are also old traditional houses that give a special feel to the area.

À propos de nous

We are a family with parents and 3 children. Father Charlie is a restaurant manager at Hotel Tórshavn and mother: Diana is a doctor at the hospital. The kids are 15, 10 and 10 months old. We also have cute labrador named Baldur.

Charlie is scottish while Diana is originally from the Islands but has lived in Denmark for many years.

In our free time we like to go for walks with the dog, Diana likes to run and Charlie hopes to get time for his old passion of windsurfing this summer.

Destination

Prefer not big city. Would like countryside, mountain or coastal areas
