Maison

Our home is a modernly furnished Victorian property 20 minutes walk from central Cambridge and 45 minutes on the train to London. It has a long garden with trampoline, so is ideal for children. There is a park 2 minutes on foot from the house. The house itself has a dining room with piano, a large spacious kitchen with dishwasher, a downstairs toilet and a sitting room. Upstairs there is a large bathroom, bedroom with double bed and another bedroom with bed. On the third floor there is a large loft room. The house is warm in winter and cool in summer and nice and light.

Quartier

The house is situated 2 minutes from a park which has swings, climbing frames trees and a basketball court. The house is 2 minutes away from a corner shop where you can buy most things. 10 minutes away on foot is a also a good supermarket. 10 minutes on foot there is a long road with lots of shops on it and also a park with a small paddling pool. The excellent thing about the location is that it is quiet - the street is not busy and it is not noisy and the people on it are friendly but not nosy. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Cambridge city centre from the house and about the same amount to the train station.

À propos de nous

We are a family of one adult and two children of 7 and 9. We like discovering new places and socialising with our friends. We all speak French because the children are bilingual. The boys like football and their mum likes gardening - and you will see we have a nice garden with a few vegetables and even some raspberries.

Destination

We would like to go away in the summer and can be flexible on dates during the whole of August. We would also like to go away at Easter and would be available from the 25th March for one week or so. We are interested primarily in Spain near a beach or waterpark for children. Wherever we go we would like activities for children but we are open to all destinations that are not too expensive to get to.
