Very charming 82m2 apartment in a typical late 19th century building with a large living room, one large bedroom and a "bureau", one kitchen, one bathroom. High ceilings, large windows, sunny. Our apartment features a flat TV screen with cable, adsl / wi-fi, one G5 Apple desktop computer and one 12" Apple laptop. It's on the 3rd floor and the building features an elevator.

Quartier

It is located at the corner with the famous rue des Martyrs in the 9th arrondissement which is very near to the center of Paris, also short to walk to great sights and places such as Montmartre, the opera house, Pigalle, etc. Also near from the department stores area (i.e. galeries lafayette…).

Lots of metro stations, and a city bike station downstairs.

Every convenience and stores nearby : grocer, post office, drugstores, supermarkets (one is open on sundays and just in front of the doorstep), many restaurants, lots of young families.

We are a couple, Cathy is 38 years old, works as an editorial manager in a major advertising agency and Jean-Manuel is 34 year old freelance interactive art director. We experience for the first time home exchange and we'll do everything to ease your stay and respect your home like it's our.

Destination

We are looking for a simultaneous home exchange in New York Manhattan, in East Village or West Village if possible. Looking to be in NYC spring of 2008 (late april, may or june).
