Maison

Our house is a very nice and bright two story duplex. (ground and first floor, not basement), with a balcony and a small garden. It has a living room, dining room, a library, a big kitchen and 5 bedrooms, there of three small ones. Also two bathrooms and a laundry room.

Quartier

We live in a good neighbourhood close to nature, but still very close to everything else. There are walking paths in all directions, playground around the corner and right by is a beautiful small park with a pond. A completely new in- and outdoor swimming pool is only about 10 minutes walk from here and another older one close by. There are horses just over the hill, a lake and a river in walking distance and a national park(Heidmork) not far away. Still it takes only 5 minutes by car to the biggest mall here in Iceland with restaurants, shops, supermarkets and movie theaters. The center of town with its beautiful lakes, harbour, restaurants, shops, galleries, etc., is only 10-15 mins by car or about 20-25 mins by bus.

We are a family of four, my name is Gudrun and my husband Helgi is a patent attorney. We have two teenage daughters and we would like to show them more of the world, before they “fly from the nest”. We have lived in USA, Sweden, and I have lived in Denmark too. And we have also spent time in England. We like meeting people from different countries, and getting introduced to different cultures. And we do like sunshine! But still open to offers anywhere.
