Condo in Winter Haven, FL on the Chain of Lakes. Small town charm, stay out of the busy tourist areas, but plenty of restuarants & a short drive to everywhere.

Polk County is strategically located in the Center of Florida, about equal distance from the East and West Coasts. Polk County lies on the Interstate 4 Corridor, 25 miles east of Tampa and 35 miles Southwest of Orlando. The local attractions include Bok Tower and Gardens in Lake Wales, Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven, Fantasy of Flight in Polk City, Sun ‘n’ Fun Air Museum in Lakeland and much more. The entrance to Disney World is a half hour drive!! Polk County is also within a one hour drive of Universal Studios, Sea World and Busch Gardens. In addition to these attractions, Polk County is the Spring Training Headquarters for the Detroit Tigers (Lakeland) and the Cleveland Indians (Winter Haven) baseball teams, fly-in at private airport less than a mile away, etc. Convenient Access to U.S. Highway 27.

À propos de nous

We are a couple in our late 20's and early 30's, both working professionals (CPA & Manager) for a large local builder/developer. Father has joint custody of two girls (ages 5 & 8) but still a bit young to enjoy traveling with us much. Pets include a black lab, frogs and saltwater fish, which will be staying elsewhere.

Destination

Non-simultaneous exchange is fine as we have a vacation rental condo in town where we can stay.

We are still looking for a summer vacation with young children in USA. Long weekend would be best.

Otherwise, vacations 1 week and under are best if in USA for the rest of the year. For locations outside of the US, we would consider longer trips.

Prefer warm weather, but open to anything. Anytime is a good time.
