Maison

Our home is on the edge of a white village in La Alpujarra, southern Spain. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a WC, laundry room, kitchen and lounge/diningroom which opens onto a terrace with splendid views over the mountains and valleys. There is a larger roof terrace with breath-taking views. Both terraces are very private.

Quartier

The village has about 1000 inhabitants and the people are friendly. There are restaurants, bars, a public swimming pool (three minutes walk from the house) a bank, shops etc. The nearest large town is just 6 Kms away, Granada is 90 mins and Almeria 80 mins. There are wonderful walks in the terraces, hills and surrounding mountains, fiestas in the villages, excellent and very cheap food in the local restaurants and you can reach the beach at Adra in just 40 mins.

À propos de nous

We are Irish and have lived in Spain for four years since I retired from teaching. We love to travel and speak some Spanish and French. We have a little house-trained dog and a cat, which we would like to bring with us and we have no problem if you want to bring your pet, as long as it is house-trained. As we will be using our car we cannot offer a car exchange.
