Modern apartment in heart of Brisbane. Level 51 of Brisbane's newest and tallest residential building. Huge balcony. Views of the Brisbane River, Story Bridge, city, and a Stradbroke Island glimpse. Our apartment is on the doorstep of the city's shopping and business district. Facilities include: sauna, gym, swimming pool, heated jacuzzi, dry-cleaning service, BBQ area, and theatre-room. It also has all the accessories you would need (computer and FREE high speed internet, huge plasma TV, DVD player, Sony Playstation, microwave, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, and much more).

Quartier

Our building lies in the absolute heart of Brisbane city; walking distance to all cafes, bars, hotels, theatres, and all other attractions. Car swap included, yet public transport is at our front door and the central city train station is a 5 min walk down the road.

Our apartment looks on to the iconic Storey Bridge. If you stay in Brisbane, I recommend doing a Storey Bridge Climb (if you are not scared of heights!) as you will see the whole of Brisbane from a 360 degree angle. After that you should have lunch or dinner at the Storey Bridge Hotel which won the best Hotel in Australia last year – it has juicy Australian steaks and great local beer! About 15 minutes walk away is Southbank, which was the home of the 1988 World Expo. There you can swim, have a BBQ, laze in the sun, eat in many of its cafes, shop in its stores, and every Sunday enjoy its markets. Southbank also consists of the Gallery of Modern Art, the State Library, the Maritime Museum, the Cultural Centre, Science Centre, and much more. Also, just across the road from our apartment every Sunday are the Riverside Markets where you can get local strawberries, Australian pottery, beautiful flowers (which we often put in our apartment), cheap vegetables, and much much more.

Brisbane is about 45 minutes drive from Australia's famous Gold Coast (and its nearby theme parks such as Dreamworld, Wet & Wild, Seaworld, Movie World, and the home of the Australian Outback Spectacular). It is a little over an hour from the beautiful Sunshine Coast (home to Australia Zoo, belonging to the late Steve Irwin 'Crocodile Hunter'). Brisbane is two hours from Noosa beach and national park, and a short flight to the Whitsundays, which boasts the Great Barrier Reef and Hamilton Island. Sydney is a one and a half hour flight away.

I (Simon) am a Banker and my partner (Sarah) is a trainee Lawyer - we are a young professional couple who are polite, extremely trustworthy and take much pride in our house and belongings; we would definitely afford you and your property with the same respect. We do not yet have any children. We are non-smokers but do not mind if you smoke on our balcony.
