The homestead is a 2 bedroom high ceiling colonial home with restored marble fire place, dining room, full kitchen, living room, two bathrooms, wrap around slat porch with fantastic views of our own private harbour. Two quad bikes to get around the property.

Quartier

The family house is a second home on an 800 acre working copra plantation and private retreat with a magnificent north facing harbour totally sheltered on all sides by limestone cliffs. Main homestead faces the sunrise from the top of the property looking down into the bay. Features our own private yacht club down on the waters edge with dock, Hobie 17, four Laser dinghy's, possibility of 30' launch for approved boaters. Also private beach on the western side of property, and amazing views of the Bay of Islands National Park. Staff village to operate the estate, and help with laundry, maid service, etc. There are no restaurants or supermarkets here - total getaway. Mobile phone coverage at the homestead only, all supplies brought in by weekly plane. Untouched, virgin beaches in both directions, great exploring, fantastic diving and fishing.

Australian expats married into local family. Business people, resort and marina developers, boat builders, etc. Yachting enthusiasts - have circumnavigated in 1999/2000. Have owned Nabavatu Estate since 1982. Looking for interesting, properties around the world, interested in snow skiing, or unique estates in Europe with car, toys, etc.

Destination

As this is a second home we are open to non-simultaneous exhange. Looking for unique set ups anywhere in the world though partial to snow skiing in Colorado (Aspen or Beaver Creek), or unique set up in Italy or France
