The apartment itself is located on the 5th floor (accessible by lift) and comprises of entrance area, kitchen/living space, ensuite double bedroom, study/bedroom no. 2 has a fold out double bed. Plans and images of the apartment complex 'The Cubes' can be found in the 'residential' section of the BSQ website.

The apartment is tastefully decorated and although contemporary it still retains a homely feeling. The kitchen is kitted out the latest appliances including Double Neff Ovens and Hobb, fridge freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher and Gaggia coffee machine! There is a counter that divides the kitchen from the remainder of the room island in the kitchen which we use as a breakfast bar.

The living area features a large L-shaped couch, a wall unit with a 38" flat screen TV and surround sound entertainment system and the bathrooms are finished in marble with a double vanity unit in the ensuite.

Master bedroom features a large double bed with leather headboard, side table/lockers, fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers. The ensuite is quite large with a double vanity unit.

The second bedroom is currently used as a den/office but there is a fold out couch here that comfortable sleeps 2. There are also fitted wardrobes in this room.

The bathroom again is quite spacious fitted with villeroy and bosch sanitary ware.

Quartier

Our 2 bedroomed apartment is located in Dublin's newest residential development - Beacon South Quarter BSQ (see www.beaconsouthquarter.com). The Beacon South Quarter development is situated at the foothill of the Dublin mountains, overlooking Dublin Bay and a mere 15 minute tram ride to the city centre. There is plenty to do here wherever your interests lie - shopping, sightseeing (museums, universities etc), hillwalking, sailing..... the list goes on..... are all easily accessible.

There are a number of retail units within the development including a grocery store, hair/beauty salon, restaurants, wine store. If your vacation does not incude a holiday from the gym you will be pleased to know that Total Fitness gym is located 5 minutes from BSQ and it is possible to purchase day passes which allow access to gym facilities, classes, pool, sauna, steam room and hydro pool.
