Maison

Sprawling rancher with coach house & indoor pool in Southlands area of city. Our house is large, comfortable and airy, with most of the living on one floor. The half-acre lot has wonderful gardens front and back, as well as a potager. We also have a wonderful housekeeper who cooks and cleans and is here 2-1/2 days a week, so you get a break from all house duties. The house has recently been renovated – most of it is new and really lovely. There is also a coach house on the grounds with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room. The three bedrooms in the main house are all on the main floor, each with its own bathroom. There is also a full bathroom in the rec room downstairs. We have wireless Internet access and air conditioning throughout the house. If you like to play tennis, we have a club with privileges and a huge pool.

Quartier

Vancouver is a spectacular city where ocean & mountains meet. If you like outdoor recreation, this is the city for you. While this area is still in urban Vancouver, it feels like the country with horses on roads and a 30 km/hr traffic limit. We are five minutes from the university, 15 minutes from downtown or Granville Island, surrounded by golf courses, the Pacific Ocean and Fraser River, with biking, walking and hiking trails nearby, and with quick access to museums and wonderful gardens. We live on the west side of the city, with Spanish Banks, Locarno, Jericho and Kitsilano beaches just a 10-minute drive away. Plus it doesn't get dark here until late (try 10PM), so you can spend as much time at the beach as you want, and even eat dinner there! There are also many more off of Stanley Park in downtown.

À propos de nous

We are a family of four, kids are early teens, really well-behaved and nice. Freddy (our dog) goes to dog camp when we go on vacation. We work in not-for-profit and marketing, with interests in climbing, gardening, tennis & badminton, ballet, knitting and especially, golf.
