Maison

Our house is in a central residential Seattle neighborhood.
The main bedroom has a comfortable king size bed. Another has a full size fold out couch. The third is a library / home office. The spacious living room has a sectional couch with a trundle that pops up to form a firm, comfortable queen size bed. The dining room is between the living room and the big kitchen. And there's also a tiny laundry room. We have a big back deck with a nice gas grill and lounge chairs. The small front porch has a bistro table and chairs, if you like to watch the neighborhood. In the warm months there are fresh herbs and flowers in the planters around the back deck. There's parking in the fenced driveway, but we usually park on the street since it's easy.

Quartier

We have a wonderful location in the north Central District of Seattle. There are a variety of shops and restaurants within walking distance. And it's easy to other neighborhoods - Downtown, hip Capitol Hill, comfy Madrona or Madison Valley. You can drive or take the bus from a block or 2 away It's a pleasant and diverse urban residential neighborhood near downtown++ and within walking distance of groceries, restaurants, cafes, etc. Parking is extremely easy and there's public transportation to downtown and other nice areas, if you like.

We are a professional couple. He's a writer (age 45) and she's an acupuncturist (36). We have had wonderful experiences with our home exchanges!

Destination

We'll consider any offers. We love traveling locally, too, as in San Juan Islands, Vashon, Whidbey, Olympic peninsula, Portland etc. And we love anyplace with hot springs or mineral springs nearby (sol duc, breitenbush, bagby etc). Also we love theatre.
