Maison

Our apartment is the main floor of a triplex (1100 sq ft), so it has the feel of a house, with windows on all sides.
1 bdrm has a comfortable king size bed. The other is an office with desks and a futon couch. The spacious living room has a sectional couch with a trundle that pops up to form a firm, comfortable queen size bed. The kitchen has a sunny nook for eating. And there's a tiny laundry room. The major applicances are old, but they work fine with a kink or 2. There's a small porch with a great gas grill and room for a table and chairs for 2 or 3. In the warm months there are fresh herbs and flowers in the planter boxes around the porch. Private parking for at least one car is located behind the apartment.

Quartier

We have a wonderful location in desirable, artistic Capitol Hill. A great neighborhood with everything you need in walking distance - cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, salons, shopping, Volunteer Park with it's view tower, Asian Art Museum. The neighborhood is minutes away from downtown by car or bus.

À propos de nous

We are a professional couple. He's a writer (age 42) and she's an acupuncturist (33). We're still newlyweds. We were married in August '07.

Destination

We'll consider any offers. We love traveling locally, too, as in San Juan Islands, Vashon, Whidbey, Olympic peninsula, Portland etc. And we love anyplace with hot springs or mineral springs nearby (sol duc, breitenbush, etc). Also we love theater and would like to go back to Ashland, OR.
