Maison

We own a 110 square meter flat in Vitoria (Basque Country).
It has a kitchen (>20 m2), a dinning-room (>20 m2), four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a terrace.
The kitchen is completely furnised: oven, microwave, washing-machine, iron, etc.

Vitoria has many interesting things to do, and nowadays it is known because Ken Follet’s last book, “World Without End”, was inspired by the Santa María Cathedral, which is located here.
You can also visit very interesting places near Vitoria:
* Bilbao is 65 km far from Vitoria, and there, you can visit the Guggenheim Bilbao museum.
* You could also live what Ernest Hemingway described in his chronicles: the San Fermines in Pamplona, because it is 95 km far from Vitoria.
* San Sebastian (105 km) has a marvellous beach.
* There is a Prehistoric Cave with paintings (called Altamira) in Santillana del Mar, 185 kms far from Vitoria.
* There are also lots of places to go if you like hiking and the coast of the Basque Country is quite near also (<100 km). Some of the most interesting beaches in the Basque Country are: Mundaka, Zarauz, San Sebastian, etc.
* To end this virtual trip to the Basque Country and the surrounding area, there is one last interesting activity to do, and it is to visit a winery in La Rioja (80 km far from Vitoria). You could go to the “Marques de Riscal”, which has an interesting hotel and restaurant designed by Frank Gerhy.

Quartier

The flat is located in a quiet neighbourhood, in a walking distance of the city center of Vitoria.
Vitoria is a medium size city in Spain (around 230000 inhabitant), so it has any kind of services (theatres, cinemas, supermarkets, shoping areas, restaurants, swiming pools, etc).
Vitoria has a nice weather in summer: 25-30 degrees and sunny.

À propos de nous

We are three people: my husband, our little daughter and me.

My husband and I both love travelling (obvious) and going to the mountain. I like music (used to play the piano some years ago), and meeting new people and places.

Destination

It can be non-simunltaneous exchange. The flat is free during July and August every year. We use to have holidays in August (1 month).
We can also exchange cars.
We are open to any offer.
