Historic house in Saltaire, the famous world heritage site in Yorkshire - google Saltaire for details. Recently resorted, it is a great example of a victorian (1872) three story end house. Two bathrooms, one ensuite, the other with a deep, roll top bath. New kitchen with walnut surfaces, large cooker and fridge. Four bedrooms, two of which are full bedrooms, the others are a 'fun' room with high quality sofa bed i.e springs etc! and a office with futon.

Many original features, such as wood burning stove, high ceilings, original fire places and york flag stone floors downstairs. Wireless internet, plasma screen tv, DVD,full cable, PS2, surround sound etc. Next to Haworth, the yorkshire moors and dales, the Hockney Gallery in the nearby world famous Salts Mill.

The ideal place for discovering the north of England, its historic houses and towns. If you like the outdoors then Yorkshire and next door Cumbria with its lakes are two of the most beautiful and exciting places in the UK.

Quartier

As a world heritage site there are some of the most impressive sights in Northern England. Historic Saltaire has a number of good, reasonably priced places to eat and some great bars and pubs. Walking distance to high moorland, climbing, mountain biking for those who like the outdoors and great train links to all northern cuities for a wider selection of galleries. Saltaire is a small community in a wider city, people travel from all over to world to see it yet it never feels crowded.

Further afield Leeds (10 miles), York (25 miles), Manchester (40 miles) have everything you could wish for from superb arcitecture to Michellin starred restaurants. Trips to Ireland - Dublin is a 40 minutes flight away (I can help with tickets) and Scotland easy.

We have a BMW car and bike rack available plus will happily leave numerous ideas for you if you let us know what you like to do. Our families live nearby and are more than happy to help if you need any advise.

I am a child therapist and my partner, Rachael, is a marketing manager. we are both love the outdoors, are both members of local athletics clubs however we also love a night out so Sataire is ideal! Both well travelled and easy going we are more than happy to help you have the best time you can including tips on places to go that are not in any tourist books.
