Maison

Our bright, modern, south-facing home is very well equipped and comfortable. It has a beautiful sitting room with panoramic views of surrounding countryside, a large open plan kitchen/dining/family room leading to the coservatory, and four double bedrooms (2 ensuite and the master has a super-king size bed). There is also a pull-down double bed-settee in one of the 2 studies. The garden is large, and opens directly onto fields which lead down to the River Tweed.

Quartier

We are a couple of miles from the beautiful town of Peebles (with great small shops, restaurants, arts and leisure centre), and about 50 minutes from historic and beautiful Edinburgh. (The bus stop to both is minutes from the house). There are great walks in the area, 3 golf courses, fishing and cycling (the renowned Glentress mountain biking centre is just along from us).

À propos de nous

I am Headteacher of a primary school and my husband is a construction manager. We have 3 adult daughters who sometimes like to join us on holiday. We enjoy walking, cycling, reading and good friends, food and wine.

Destination

We hope to be in Tuscany for this holiday. A non-simultaneous exchange would also be an option.
