Maison

Our home is just 6 years old, single level, open plan, light and airy with large doors opening out onto a covered patio adjacent to the swimming pool. There is a pleasant large master bedroom with ensuite bathroom overlooking the tropical garden. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed and separate adjacent bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with modern European appliances.

Quartier

Our neighbourhood has a delightful mix of families and retired couples. It is a quiet area with lots of lovely gardens and is adjacent to the many canals of Noosa Waters. It is a short walk to the river, shopping centres and library. Noosa beach is about a 5 minute drive away. It is easy walking distance to many wonderful cafes and restaurants. The Noosa River ferry runs regularly from Noosaville up to Hastings Street at Noosa Beach and is a lovely way to see Noosa from the water. We are surrounded by the river, beaches, national parks and World Heritage listed Fraser Island. We have a new shopping centre at Noosa Civic just 5 minutes away. There is also a major shopping centre at Maroochydore about 30 minutes drive. There is a train service to the city of Brisbane from nearby Nambour which takes approximately 1 hour. We are Brian & Anne - a retired couple in our sixties. We have been involved in the tourism and accommodation industry most of our working lives. We have travelled extensively throughout Australia and overseas and enjoyed the company of fellow travellers we have met. We have hosted in our own home many visitors that have become permanent friends. We have exchanged houses and had housesitters so are familiar with having people in our home.We are energetic and adventurous and enjoy the outdoors, boating, fishing, swimming and walking. Our dates and length of stay for an exchange are quite flexible.

We would like to arrange a house exchange in Thailand and Malaysia bertween January and March 2011
