We have a nicely appointed home above the Wailea Resort with beautiful views of the ocean, offshore islands, and sunsets. Our home is in a peaceful, relaxing area with a lush garden setting. Close drive to Keawekapu beach or walkable 1.6 mile. Other nearby beaches include Kamaole, Ulua, Wailea, and the Makena beaches as well as many other gems. These are some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. 2 bedroom 2 bath plus sleeping loft (3rd bedroom). Sleeps six easily with 1 king size bed and 2 queen size beds. Our relaxing Lanai (lanai is the Hawaiian word meaning porch or deck) area includes a hammock and is pleasant throughout the day and evening. This is our primary home, not a rental; and as such is fully functional with a complete kitchen and cooking supplies. Our living area is the entire upper floor, the lower living area is leased separately (our neighbors are wonderful, and there is plenty of privacy). The garden often offers up flowers, herbs,vegetables and fresh fruits; including Avocados, Bananas, Cherimoya, Coconut, Lillikoi, Papaya, and Starfruit. Kimo is our friendly, outdoor living cat that lives on the property. He will get the neighbors to feed him; but you may make friends with him too, if you'd like.

This area above Wailea Resort is known as "Maui Meadows"; and is considered one of the nicer locales in the South Shore area of Maui. It is a relatively quiet and peaceful area as contrasted with the busier, more touristy, areas of Kihei and the resorts; and yet only 5-10 minutes to all the shops, restaurants, and activities of the Kihei/Wailea area. Maui has an eclectic mix of people from all around the world that is part of what is wonderful and special about Maui.

We are in our early 50's, non-smokers, neat, caring, and experienced home exchangers; and would appreciate the same. We are semi-retired with a good amount of flexibility in planning our vacations. We love to ski and typically plan a couple of ski trips each year. On our ski vacations, we like to invite some family to join us for some of the time; so, there may be 4-6 adults at those times. All other exchanges it would just be 2 adults; and other destinations and seasons are always of interest as well.

Destination

Dates are flexible; and non-sumultaneous exchange is possible.
Ski Resorts, western, in season, are one of our prime interests(Tahoe, Kirkwood, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Whistler, Breckenridge, Steamboat Springs, Durango, Telluride, Vail, Jackson Hole, Crested Butte, Winter Park, Sun Valley, Whitehead, Snow Bird, etc).
Also interested in San Francisco (in the city), Sausalito, Yosemite valley, Washington DC, Plum Island Mass (on the island), Bryce Canyon NP, France (Paris, Provence, La Loire, Alps), Greece, Greek islands, London (Kensington, Notting Hill), Palau, Thailand, Hawaii (neighbor islands), Maui (Hana, Kipahulu).
Open to other special and unique places.
