We really enjoy this neighbourhood as it is close to the sea [Pacific Ocean], just 5 minutes drive away, lots of other beaches within easy driving distance as Christchurch is close to the Port Hills which offers a great selection of activity. Within a short distance of our home there are three golf ranges,a swimming & sports stadium, wetlands for protected bird life, lots of walking tracks, forest walks and mountain biking tracks. Good bus service offered,the local shops are only a bus ride away, bus stop at end of the street, 30 minutes into main city center, good service to all main shopping malls and High schools.
Our suburb of North New Brighton has alot to offer to all ages, as many local groups for walking, craft work and sports.

We currently run our own retail shop, in the process of selling this as a business and looking to spending time travelling, by house swapping within NZ and around the world.
