The cottage is situated in a small hamlet between the beautiful fishing villages of Crail and Anstruther. There is direct access to Fife's coastal path and you can walk to local villages. St. Andrews is 10 miles north and Edinburgh is 50 miles south. The cottage is furnished to a high standard comprising 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a sitting room and a well equipped dining kitchen. The master bedroom has a king sized double bed with an ensuite shower room. There are 2 further twin bedrooms. There is a large family bathroom with bath and shower. The sitting room is a good size and has an open fire, TV and DVD player and French doors to the courtyard garden. The dining kitchen easily seats 6 and is well equipped. There is a double garage. This is our family holiday home.

Quartier

The cottage is situated in north east Fife which is famous for world-class golf courses. There are many beautiful beaches, for example at Elie, St. Andrews, and Kingsbarns. The historic local fishing villages of Crail, Pittenweem and Anstruther are wonderful places to visit. There are many restaurants in the area to match any budget. Fife has a coastal path which stretches from North Queensferry to St. Andrews and passes directly by the cottage. The area offers golf, walking, horse riding, cycling, water sports, and the opportunity to explore historic towns and cities.

À propos de nous

We are a family with 2 kids aged 13 and 11 years. We live in Edinburgh and we love using our cottage for weekends and family holidays. The kids love the local cycle tracks, rock pooling, horse riding, tennis and the banana boats and kayaks in the summer at Elie. We all enjoy walking along the coastal path and wandering the lanes of the local fishing villages. There are some fantastic local restaurants. I enjoy the occasional game of golf and I am always challenged by Fife's Links courses. St. Andrews is a beautiful ancient university town, with a great theatre and cinema and many nice boutiques.

Destination

We are looking for a simultaneous exchange with a house or apartment near the coast anywhere from Cape Cod in the south to Maine in the north. We would also be interested in Boston.
