Maison

Our condo is modern and well kept with all of the amenities you would look for in a vacation home. We have one bedroom with two beds, a sleeper sofa in the living room, air conditioning, fully equiped kitchen and bath, well furnished, high speed internet, a pleasant backyard view of landscaped courtyard, and friendly neighbors.

Quartier

Our condo is located in a well maintained complex with swimming pools, new gym/spa (a personal trainer is available)), temmis courts, a library and lots of great shopping.


The white sand Gulf beaches are five minutes away with swimming, parasailing, boating, dolphin watching excursions and a quaint trolly that traverses our beaches from one end to the other and continues into our lively downtown pier/waterfront area.

The location couldn't be better as it is central to most of Florida's best attractions as a day trip. We are thirty minutes from Busch Gardens in Tampa, less than two hours from Orlando with Disney and other venues and just forty minutes further East is the Atlantic beaches and Cape Kennedy (you won't believe the Saturn rocket close-up!)

Sarasota is just forty minutes South of us with the fabulous Ringling Brothers Circus Museum, gardens and art museum. Less than two hours South of Sarasota is Sanibel Islands, known as possibly the best shelling in this hemisphere, real natural beauty, canoe/kayak water trails (with equipment rental), walking trails and art galleries.

We have much to offer beyond Disney type entertainment. Florida's underground aquafyers are unique in the world, resulting in crystal clear rivers, springs and deep spring poolsfor diving and many are located in wonderful state or national parks.

We are retired and very anxious to experience Alaska now that the nest is empty and it doesn't look as though any of the kids will be moving back in!! They are established and happy and isn't that a load off one's mind.

We have two cats but will board them if necessary or if you would care for them when you are local, we would arrange for one of the kids to look after them if you are away. There are two cars available for your use.

Destination

The dates are flexible but being from Florida not too cold please.

It would be nice to be centrally located but as the driving distances are not too great we are open to location.

We will need a car and would care for paets on the days we are in town but will not restrict travel.
