In the heart of the most up-to date quartier of Buenos Aires, near everything, old-french or spanish style house on the first and second floor (private entrance). High ceilings, 196 sq. meters, living and dining room, kitchen and 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms on first level, plus two studios, laundry and 1 little bedroom and extra bathroom on flat-roof level. Outdoor flat roof with an open wiew (about 48 sq. meters). Cable TV, dsl, air conditionning in living room, one bedroom and studios, ceiling fans elsewhere.

Quartier

Palermo Viejo, now called Palermo Soho, is the most up-to-date neighbourhood in Buenos Aires. Very well situated in the middle of the city, it is quite quiet at the same time. It gets really busy on week ends, when 'porteños' and tourists stroll along its streets, sit in its bars on the sidewalk and look around all the design and fashion shops.
Restaurants, bookstores, shopping, fashion, public transportation all around our place. Ten minutes car ride from Palermo lake, tennis and golf. Car exchange possible (though you don't really need a car in Buenos Aires, there is plenty of public transportation and taxis are really cheap for foreigners).

À propos de nous

We are a couple of professors of the University of Buenos Aires in our early fifties and sixties, and we will be staying in Miami with our ten year old daughter on a 3 months Fulbright grant from mid-december 2007 to end of february 2008 (our summer holidays). We look for a house, appart or condo in a nice and lively place, if possible not too far away from the University of Miami and the French-american school (Coral Gables, Coconut Grove or others). Wa can propose a car exchange with our old and faithful Ford Fiesta '95. We have lived in several countries (France, Canada, Mexico, Chili) and have exchanged houses with friends before.

Destination

We are looking for a minimum 2 bedroom house or appt. in Miami, not too far away from Coral Gables if possible. We will be in Miami for a Fulbright research grant for 3 months, and our daughter will be attending school in Coral Gables. Car exchange welcome.
