Maison

Situated on beautiful Porter's Lake, Nova Scotia, we have a large executive home on a one acre lot with a large deck and dock right on the lake. This allows enjoyment of a sailboat, motorboat and swimming in summer and skating and cross country skiing in the winter all from the back yard.

The house is fully furnished and has all the amenities for comfortable living - including high speed internet, cable tv, a home gym and a large equipped office space.

We would love to trade the ocean and lake for prairies and mountains for at least one year.

Quartier

Porter's Lake is a 21 km lake and is close to the Atlantic Ocean.

We are only 8 minutes from the world famous surfing haven, Lawrencetown Beach. We are walking distance to the Porter's Lake Provinicial Park and Kinap Canoe Club - great for family activities. This is a small, safe, rural community but schools and shopping are only 8 minutes down the road.

Halifax city centre is only 35 minutes away which has several great universities, a rich variety of cultural venues, lovely harbourfront complete with boardwalk, pubs and museums.


There is a Provincial park just down the road from the house which is great for walking. There are elementary schools and shopping in the area.

We are a family of 5 who would very much like to explore Alberta and BC. We are a professional couple with three respectful and terrific teenagers.

Destination

We are interested in exploring Canada's Western Provinces - mountains and prairies. We would like to live in Alberta either in Edmonton or Calgary or their surrounding communities.

We would like at least a one year exchange to fully appreciate your province.
