Maison

Studio Apartment with 1 bathroom has quaint and cozy feel to it. Has modern amenties such as microwave, dvd player, desktop computer, stereo (with 5 disc CD player), heater, fan, 2 mini closets, and a full-sized bed (which folds down from the wall). I prefer an exchange for the New Year's holiday of 2007 or 2008. And possibly in the last week of July in 2008. My apartment is located in building with 19 apartments and the interior of the lobby of the building is nicely decorated. The neighbors are friendly yet non-intrusive.

Quartier

3 blocks to the beach and less then 2 blocks to public transportation (the public tranportation is a subway that can lead to San Diego, Los Angeles, and Pasadena).

I work in the mental health field and definitely need a break every now and then. I am single, a non-smoker, and have no pets. I speak English and some French and Spanish. Have always wanted to go to England and am a first timer at home exchanges.

Destination

My top choice is in England (not particular about the area, but would prefer to not be more than 2 hours away from London so I can at least see London). Also my car is available for exchange, so would prefer if there could be a car exchange as well.
