A very large house in downtown Fernie British Columbia within walking distance to restaurants, bars, shopping and a swimming pool .The Ski hill is a short 5 minute car ride away. Mountain biking trails and hiking trails are available from our doorstep. Our home features a main floor master bedroom with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Upstairs are two more bedrooms, one bathroom plus an office with a sofa bed. In the basement is a grand media room with a 65" television and another bedroom and bathroom. Our house is tastefully decorated in a country casual decor and has a combination of hardwood, ceramic tile and carpet flooring. We have spectacular views of all noteworthy mountains in the area with a large yard that backs onto green space. We have two adorable English Springer Spaniels named Ollie and Sydney who warm up to anyone very quickly. They are very good with both of our young children. Our neighborhood is made up of larger estate and executive homes where many people that work and live in Fernie reside. A world class golf Course designed by Scotland's DMK is currently under construction and will be complete in 2009-2010. Out other golf course in Fernie is a short 10 minute walk from our back yard.

Quartier

Our neighborhood has a mixture of families and retired residents and is within walking distance of most amenities in Fernie. We really only need to drive to the Ski Hill (5 minutes away by car) We love our neighborhood for its large plots of land and its unique custom built homes. The people that live in our neighborhood came to Fernie for the lifestyle benefits that outdoor living offers.

Our Family came to Fernie for the lifestyle benefits of a mountain community. Skiing, mountain biking, hiking and fly fishing are top of mind. We speak English although my 6 year old daughter studies french, spanish and German in her grade one class. I am a Real Estate Professional and my wife Susan is a Registered Nurse. My son is 4 and is an avid skier and hot wheels fan. We have friend who live next door with small children as well that would make an excellent resource.
