Built in 2004,we have a spacious English-style house with 3 floors including 3 bedrooms (2 queen beds and 1 double beds) and a finished basement with 1 double bed and a full bathroom. The rest of the house has 1 full bathroom and 1 washroom. The house is located 20 minutes from downtown Montreal (on the South Shore). Our house is on a round about, so it's very safe for kids. We have an in-ground pool, a swing set for kids and lots of room to play. The house is located on an island (Île-aux-lièvres in Carignan, www.Seigneuriedesiles.com). The island has about 300 homes and is very quiet. The house has a family room and 2 TV rooms. The dining room table seats 8 people and the kitchen has an island table for 4. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and a microwave in addition to all the basics. During the winter, you can enjoy the wood fireplace and in the summer, the house has central air conditionning. The house has ceramic and hardwood floors throughout. During the summer, enjoy the outdoor gazebo next to the pool, the BBQ will also be available directly off the kitchen patio. The cable and wireless Internet connections are available in the house as well and you can park 2 cars in the garage. Finally, our house is located in an exclusive area and we are confident you will enjoy it!

Quartier

Located 5 minutes from the house is the Richelieu ( a large naviguable river), surrounded by many intimate restaurants and bistros. The Chambly rapids is a popular outdoor meeting place on hot summer days. There are 2 golf courses, 1 at the entrance of the island and the other at 5 minutes drive. For shopping, you have access to the largest open sky shopping center in Canada at 10 minutes drive, Le Quartier dix30. You can find restaurants, theatre,movies,shows, shopping, gym by visiting the www.quartierdix30.com. At 35 minutes drive, you can find the Bromont Ski Resort. You can enjoy some of the finest skiing in the area with 129 runs, a waterslide park and an internationaly reknown mountain bike location for the summer. As mentionned before, the house is located 20 minutes drive from downtown Montreal, the most vibrant multi-cultural city in Canada (Bars, amazing restaurants, festivals, shows, casino, shopping). We are a young family of 4. My husband and I have been together for 11 years now, and we have 2 girls (8 and 4). We are 2 professionals working full time. I have been working for Danone for 10 years in the Sales department. My husband works for a steel company as a Sales Director. He's English and I'm French. We love practicing many sports, like alpine skiing with our 2 girls. I have been practicing yoga religiously for a couple of years. My husband enjoys golf and hockey. We are simple people with strong family values. We like healthy food and good company. We are always surrounded by different friends and enjoying life. We are interested in visiting Europe especially or short term trips in the US. Our travel periods would be during spring break, Christmas time or during the summer. You can be confident that our family will respect your personnal space and we ask the same in return!
