Maison

Our spacious home has 3 levels. First level - living room and dining room plus an open kitchen with dishwasher and microwave (some food restrictions - inquire with owner.) Also a large family room with flat screen plasma television, dvd/vcr player and stereo. Second level - 3 children's bedrooms, small laundry room with washer and dryer, children's bathroom and a master bedroom with a king sized bed and master bath. Third level - guest room with queen sized bed and office space with television and dvd player. House is fully air conditioned. There is a large backyard with a basketball court. There is a front porch and small front yard.

Quartier

Our neighborhood is a lovely, friendly, family-oriented community with many parks, a cute downtown with shops and restaurants and a Sunday farmers market. There is a playground and soccer field around the corner from our house. We are walking distance to the metro (subway) and a quick drive to downtown DC and its sights. We are only a 30 minute drive to the Baltimore harbor and its sights. We are also a 5 minute drive (or metro ride) to downtown Silver Spring, which is filled with stores, restaurants and a multiplex movie theater, as well as the nationally-known American Film Institute movie theater. We are a 15 minute drive to the University of Maryland's College Park campus, American University, Catholic University, and close to George Washington University and Georgetown University.

À propos de nous

We are a family of five. Jonathan is a journalist, and Karen is a fundraising consultant to non-profit organizations. Our oldest son is 12, our daughter is 8 and our youngest son is 6. We love to be outdoors and we love to travel.

Destination

Our first choice is to stay centrally located in Jerusalem but we are open to staying anyplace in central Israel. We would like to stay someplace walking distance to shops and parks. We're open to swapping cars. Our dates are not flexible and this must be a simultaneous swap - we already have plane tickets for July 20 - August 16.
