Maison

Salt Lake City mountain valley home would be ideal for families with kids. House in the suburbs built in 2001. Awesome view of the mountains!

We have a 3 bed, 2 bath, multi-level home. The master suite has a queen bed. 2nd bedroom has one twin and room for an air mattress. the 3rd bedroom has a twin bed and a twin trundle bed. All beds and baths are upstairs. Plenty of room in the family room (downstairs) for a queen or king air mattress, which we would provide.

8 people comfortably, 10 people max. Kids welcome - pets negotiable.

We have a large kitchen and dining room and the master bath has an oversized tub with a separate shower. Wireless DSL and new washer/dryer. Fenced yard and access to small gym and outdoor pool/hot tub (open May through Sept). TVs with cable and DVD/VCRs in master bed, 3rd bed and family room.

Nothing too fancy, but new and clean and comfortable.

Quartier

Located on a quiet cul-de-sac in South Jordan. 2 blks from the new Oquirrh Mountain LDS Temple. Great neighborhood with lots of kids.

3 grocery stores within 1 mile. Gas station/convenience store within walking distance. Fishing pond/canoeing within walking distance. Movie theaters and restaurants and shopping only 1 mile away. Several parks with play areas within 3 blks.

20 min. from downtown Salt Lake. 30 min. to 6 ski resorts (Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude) and 45 min. to Park City (Deer Valley, The Canyons).

We are also only 5 hrs from Moab (Arches and Canyonlands) and 5 hrs to Yellowstone/Jackson Hole.

In the summer, the Wasatch Mtns offer hiking, boating, fishing (river and reservoir).

We have 2 adults and 2 kids (11 yr old girl and 14 yr old boy - both well behaved and seasoned travelers) in our family. We also have 3 dogs and 2 cats. We would find other accommodations for the dogs and could possibly do the same with the cats. Would be willing to look after your pet.

We have a compact car (seats 5) and an SUV (Jeep Cherokee 4WD, seats 5) that we could Exchange.

I am an airline employee, so we are generally very flexible with our travel. Our interests include camping, hiking, fishing, horseback riding.

Right now, we are particularly interested in Hawaii, So. California, Washington DC, and Vegas, but we will have our passports soon and would be interested in Ireland, Germany, Italy, Greece and Egypt. We would be open to almost any where.

Destination

We are looking for Hawaii Jan 17-21, 2007. This could be a non-simultaneous exchange.

Open to other US cities all year round - simul. or non.

Open to other countries after May 2007.
