Maison

We built this house 3 years ago and love everything we've done with it. It's a brick ranch house of 1850 sq. ft with hardwood floors and slate tile in the bathrooms. The living and dining rooms have 12-foot ceilings and the 3-way fireplace lets you see into the kitchen, which is painted in bright, pleasant colors. The kitchen has new appliances, including a microwave, coffee grinder and espresso maker. It has lots of space and has been wonderful to cook and eat in. It opens onto the backyard deck, which has a table for 6, a water fountain, outside speakers and a permanently attached grill. There is some nice artwork inside and surround-sound speakers.

Louisville is within a day's drive to over half the US population. New Albany is a quaint town just opposite Louisville across the Ohio River (and thus in Indiana). Louisville is an excellent place to spend several weeks because of the cultural activities here in the summer and because you can so easily visit other great cities like Nashville, Chicago, Washington D.C., and others.
