Maison

We have a spacious, bright, well equipped family home. I am a college lecturer, and my husband is a counsellor/therapist.

Our house is semi-detached on the edge of Tramore, a popular seaside destination. The house has a living room, kitchen-dining area, utility, playroom, office and four bedrooms; one double (ensuite), one with bunkbeds, two singles. The playroom also functions as a guest bedroom and has a fold out double bed and ensuite shower room. The house was built in 2003 and an extension added in 2007, so it is modern, clean and comfortable. We have four children, boys aged 11, 8 & 3 and a girl aged 6. We are well equipped to exchange with similiar, or larger families. We have a large and safe enclosed back garden with a play area (swing, slide, enclosed trampoline), patio area with bbq, furniture and awning. We have a cot, highchair, baby car seat etc, for families with babies.

Quartier

Tramore has a three mile long beach which is wonderfully safe for children. There are smaller quieter beaches within very easy reach just outside the town. The coastline stretches west to Dungarvan and is very unspoilt - it's a Unesco site 'The Copper Coast'. Tramore itself is a vibrant resort during the summer with pubs and restaurants, an amusement park and lots of waterbased activities available. Our house is within walking distance of the town centre. Tramore is a good base for exploring the south east of Ireland, Wexford, Kilkenny and Cork.

À propos de nous

We are a family of six. Our boys are aged eleven, eight and three and we have a six year old girl. I lecture in the local college while my husband is a counsellor. We enjoy picnics, walking, the beach, museums, castles, and relaxing at home. The children love lego, playmobil, all ball sports, the trampoline in the garden and the house here is full of toys of all sorts for boys and girls.

Destination

We are open to different destinations, this is our primary home so it does need to be a simultaneous exchange. We are interested in a holiday (anything from ten days to month!) during the summer 2012 and we are available to exchange from late June to late August.
