Modern house built 2006, bright kitchen and breakfast area with views across farmland. Open plan lounge and dining room with french doors leading to rear garden and bay window at the front looking onto child friendly quiet cul-de-sac. The ground floor also has a seperate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, a small wc and internal access to our large garage which is used as a games room with a pool table and air hockey. The first floor has four bedrooms. The master has an en-suite toilet and shower and one double bed, rooms 2 and 3 both have one single bed each and room 4 has a set of bunk beds plus a cot bed suitable for a child up to 4 years old. The first floor also has the bathroom and a small computer room providing full internet access.

Quartier

Quiet neighbourhood on the edge of a vibrant village with a butchers,bakers and small supermarket all within 5 minutes walk. There are 3 fast food outlets and a few bars. There is a family friendly restaurant and bar within 3 minutes walk. The village also has a train station with regular services to Glasgow city centre. The nearest town is 5 minutes by car. The town has larger supermarkets, several restaurants and bars and a sports centre. The wider area within a 10 mile radius includes vast stretches of countryside for walking and cycling there are many beautiful parks, popular tourist attractions such as museums,stately homes,cathedrals, cinemas and leisure centres. The West Coast with access to many sandy beaches and links to islands is less than 40 mins by car or train.

À propos de nous

My wife is a childminder and I work as a Project Manager in the UK rail industry. We have five children; two girls aged 14 and 1 and three boys aged 15, 8 and 2.

Our house is family friendly with lots of toys books and a large garden to run around in.

The older children are best on languages both speaking a little French.

Destination

We would like to be in or near a village or town with restaurants cafes within walking distance but will consider any property that can accomodate all seven of us.
