Maison

Our family is pleased to offer you our home in exchange of yours. We are two adults and 3 kids from 1 o 8 years old. Also, our family includes a dog, Balou.

Our house is located in front of a lake and offers all the comodities in the kitchen as well as two fireplace to warm up after small expedition or just for the ambiance.

There are two floors in our house. Wooden floor, no carpet. Central heating or air conditionnated system. We have 4 bedrooms. One with a huge king bed, one with a queen bed, one with a single bed and one with a craddle. There is also a single matress available. The master bedroom has it's own bathroom, with huge tube and a ceramic shower apart. The view is awsome: the lake and forest.
There are 2 other bathrooms, all with showers or bath.

Also, we have a family room with so many toys, it looks like the Alibaba cavern! This room also has a pool table, beside the fireplace: excellent for magic moments!

Obviously we have all the necessary for kids and babies. As for the dog, if you are a lover, he could welcome you. Otherwise he'll go to my relatives.

You will be able to use our car, wich is good for up to 7 pax. We could arrange some pick up at the airport, if necessary.

Since our home is located on a small private lake, with a beach, during summer time a kayak and a small canoe is available. You could fish and swim!

There is a huge terrasse (12' X 25 ') with net, so you are protected for the mosquitos. Also a BBQ.

There is a small house for kids in a tree, just beside our house, with swings.

Quartier

Our typical wood house is located in the Laurentians, which are the oldest chain of mountain in the world. Located less than an hour north of Montreal, we are in a very popular sector, where you can do in less than a mile: walk in the nature, bearfoot walking, skating and sliding. There is a small kids park in the domain as well.

We are located 15 minutes drive from St-Sauveur, which is certainly the most famous city in the Laurentians. More than 5 ski centers,and two sliding tubes center. In St-Sauveur you'll discover as well a well known gastronomy and some nice boutiques. Spas are available in the area with some swimming in the river, even in the winter time!

15 minutes south is St-Jérôme, where you'll encounter a big mall with cinemas. Also all the medical care you could need.

You will be able to go to Montreal in less than an hour an to Quebec city in 2h30.

As for the neighborhood, very close is our family which can support, inform or help you. The nighboor are calm, some families with children others are retired persons.

We are a family of five. Two adults and 3 kids. 1,2 and 8 years old.
It is the first time that we participate in a home exchange, but after having heard so many good things about it, we are ready to jump!

We wish to exchange our home for one that could welcome us 5, with a car that can carry us 5 as well. With a family with kids would be helpful but not mandatory.

At this point we are still flexible for the date and the destination.
