Maison

Our home is situated in the Suburbs of Richmond, Virginia. Richmond City is a 15 minute ride away. The City offers, Art, Museums, the Canal Walk, incredible music scene with lots of venues for all types of music, the James River (one of the most beautiful rivers), the Fan (an artsy section of downtown with lots of cafes and restaurants, the art gallery district, Carytown (the fashion district). Lots of old beautiful buildings, Church Hill, Hollywood Cemetary... the list goes on. We have a dog. His name is Coda and he is very friendly. If we can bring him with us, we will. I have two snakes. They are small and in cages. They are in the office room. We have a HUGE mall 3 miles from the house called, Short Pump Mall. My husband works for the VA Department of Health as a Project Manager, I work for the Richmond City Attorney's Office as Case Manager/Automation Coordinator and Paralegal and we have a daughter who is turning 17 this January (2008) and a son who is in college. My husband and I are musicians and writers. We are looking to vacation anywhere, including the US. We love experiencing new surroundings and are open to visiting different places. I'm from NY and like to go back to visit every so often. We are looking for weekends and week long vacations. We are honest, respectful people and would respect your home as we hope you would ours.
Our home is a tri-level. On the bottom floor we have a family room/jam room with a wood burning fireplace. There is a half bathroom and a laundry room on that floor. The next floor up is the formal living room and a large eat-in kitchen. The third floor has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One is the master bedroom and bath (which, honestly isn't very big but it's cozy) and then the other bedroom we use as an office but there is a futon bed in there. The third bedroom is a guest room with a single bed and a trundle. On the fourth floor is our daughters bedroom. It's a teenagers room; queen bed on the floor

Quartier

We live in the suburbs which is quiet, not much street lights but our neighbors are wonderful. 3 miles up the road is a huge mall. We love to drive into the City which is only 15 minutes away. Richmond City offers so much. We have a beautiful park called Maymont park. You can walk for days in this park. It has a childrens petting zoo.

Destination

We would like to go to NYC January 18-21 of 2008 ( I know short notice). We are pretty flexible with vacations. We have to put in notice but can take a vacation any time during the year.
