Maison

Highbury, Islington, north London, close to tubes and buses, only 15 minutes to centre of London. Large family home, light and spacious, comfortable and child-friendly. Kitchen leading to patio garden, sunny and secluded. Living room with piano, TV/DVD, PS2, Wii, open fire. Adjoining dining room with French doors to patio. Two single rooms, and study with single sofabed. Double room. Bathroom with toilet, and separate, second toilet downstairs. Quiet, tree-lined street, popular with families.

Quartier

Sought-after shady street, most residents are families with children, or professional working people. Lots of restaurants and small shops just around the corner. About a mile away, very lively and fashionable area of Angel/Islington, with its shops, restaurants and night life. We are close to two lovely parks, and two leisure centres with swimming pools (indoor). Children's play areas and tennis in both parks, with cafes. Buses in next street go to all major areas for sightseeing, and there are two different tube stations (Victoria line / Piccadilly line) within 10 minutes walk.

À propos de nous

We work in publishing - educational material and magazines. We have a good supply of books and guides to London and the local area. We are keen cooks and the kitchen is well-equipped. We have two boys aged 10 and 13. We have a lovely Labrador who will be housed elsewhere when you are here!
