Maison

The house has 3 bedrooms, one currently used as on office / study with broadband internet connection. The main bedroom has a en-suite bathroom and there is also a shower room. The living room has a gas coal-effect fire and satellite tv. The house is centrally heated. Our car may be available for exchange visitors.

Quartier

Our house is situated in one of the prettiest and friendliest villages in Hampshire with plenty of country walks from the door, yet is within 3 miles of trains to London in approx. 1 hour.

There is a pub/restaurant and shop at one end of our street and the church, primary school and village hall at the other. Cricket is played on the village green each summer weekend.

There is a golf club with separate 9 and 18 hole courses within half a mile.

The photos show the church, school and a view looking NW across the village from a nearby footpath.

À propos de nous

We are a professional couple (software developer / guide dog trainer) in out late 40's / early 50's now spending less time working and (hopefully) more time travelling. We have previously lived in Canada, USA, Australia and Israel. We also have a 10m sail boat currently moored in France.

Destination

We are expecting to take a six month work exchange, commencing September 2009, to Perth, WA and would be interested in hearing from anyone who might be interested in a house exchange with us, or who may have a furnished property to rent for this period.

We are currently in Perth on our first work exchange, so possibly we can meet up. We expect to return to the UK in April 2009 but will be back in Perth in September 2009 and hope to find a home exchange for up to six months.
